Spencer Stuart

Spencer Stuart is an executive search consulting firm based in Chicago, Illinois.[1] It was founded in 1956 and is privately owned.[1]

According to The Wall Street Journal, "Spencer Stuart has become the go-to recruiter when Uncle Sam wants bailed-out companies to install new directors and other top officials".[2]

The Yahoo! board of directors retained Spencer Stuart in June 2012 to conduct a search to replace former CEO Scott Thompson.[3]
