The speckled catshark, Halaelurus boesemani, is a cat shark of the family Scyliorhinidae, found in the Gulf of Aden and off Somalia, also known around Viet Nam, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Western Australia, between latitudes 21° N and 26° S, at depths of between 40 and 250 m. Its length is up to 48 cm.
