Space Goth

Space Goth is speculative fiction subgenre blending forms typical to gothic horror and science fiction.^[1] By definition, the genre attempts to capture the dark atmosphere of many of the works of Gothic fiction, but incorporating elements of science fiction involving the setting of outer space and the concept of extraterrestrials. Some films that have explored the concept include Alien and Event Horizon.
