The South Luzon Expressway (SLE or SLEx), which is formerly called the South Superhighway (SSH), and officially known as Radial Road 3 or R-3, is a network of two expressways that connects Metro Manila to the provinces of the CALABARZON region in the Philippines. The first expressway is the Metro Manila Skyway System, operated jointly by the Skyway Operation and Management Corporation (SomCo) and Citra Metro Manila Tollways Corporation (CMMTC). The second expressway, the South Luzon Tollway or Alabang-Calamba-Sto.Tomas Expressway (ACTEX), is jointly operated by the South Luzon Tollway Corporation, a joint venture of the PNCC and the SMC-backed Citra group of Indonesia (the group where MTD Capital Berhad, the original partner, sold their shares) via the Manila Toll Expressway Systems, Inc. (MATES).

The expressway starts in Manila's Paco District at President Elpidio Quirino Avenue and passes through the following cities and municipalities: Manila, Makati, Pasay, Parañaque, Taguig and Muntinlupa in Metro Manila, San Pedro and Biñan in Laguna, Carmona in Cavite, then transverses again to Biñan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao and Calamba in Laguna and ends in Santo Tomas in Batangas.

In 2006, the South Luzon Tollway segment underwent rehabilitation through the SLEX Upgrading and Rehabilitation Project, which rehabilitates and expands the Alabang Viaduct as well as the road from Alabang to Calamba, and eventually connect the expressway to the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road to Santo Tomas, Batangas.

Route description

South Luzon Expressway looking southbound from Susana Heights

The South Luzon Expressway network currently cuts southwards from the City of Manila up to the provinces of Laguna, Cavite, Batangas. In the future, it will run towards Quezon, Camarines Sur, Albay and Sorsogon as part of its expansion plans. It is composed of the Metro Manila Skyway System and the South Luzon Tollway/Alabang-Calamba-Santo Tomas Expressway, which contains portions of the Pres. Sergio Osmeña Sr. Highway and Dr. Jose P. Rizal Highway.

Pres. Sergio Osmeña Sr. Highway

The Pres. Sergio Osmeña Sr. Highway segment starts from an intersection at Quirino Avenue in Paco, Manila and goes straight up to Alabang in Muntinlupa. The part of Osmeña Highway which passes through Manila, Makati, and Pasay is a toll-free highway before reaching the Nichols Toll Plaza from which the tolled expressway begins. Heading southward, the expressway has exits in Merville Subdivision and Bicutan in Parañaque, and Sucat, Alabang, and Filinvest in Muntinlupa. This segment was formerly known as South Superhighway before Republic Act 6760 was passed, naming it after former President Sergio Osmeña.[1] This highway may be called "local lanes" of the Expressway within Metro Manila.

Metro Manila Skyway

Main article: Metro Manila Skyway

Due to increasing vehicles congesting on the SLEX within Metro Manila, the Metro Manila Skyway was constructed as a direct, non-stop route from Alabang–Zapote Road in Muntinlupa to Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati, bypassing many of the interchanges of the SLEX, such as those with C-5 Road near Fort Bonifacio and EDSA. The Skyway and the portion of the Osmeña Highway below forms the Skyway System, which is managed by the Skyway Operations and Maintenance Corporation (SOMCo.), which succeeded the PNCC Skyway Corporation in 2007.[3] This highway might be called "express lanes" of the Expressway within Metro Manila.

Dr. Jose P. Rizal Highway

From Kilometer 28.387 at San Pedro, Laguna southwards,[2] the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Highway segment runs through the province of Laguna, as well as a segment of Carmona at Cavite province before continuing back to Laguna from Biñan towards the terminus of the expressway at Calamba through an exit to the Maharlika Highway. The highway was also part of the Osmeña Highway until 1992 when R.A. 6760 was amended, which named the segment after the Philippines' national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.[2] The road starting from Alabang Viaduct in Muntinlupa up to Calamba forms the South Luzon Tollway, handled by the South Luzon Tollway Corporation, a joint venture of the Philippine National Construction Corporation and the SMC-backed Citra group of Indonesia.[4]

South Luzon Tollway/Alabang-Calamba-Santo Tomas Expressway

Called as the SLT or ACTEx as the new alternate name for the part of the R-3 held by South Luzon Tollway Corporation The ACTEx name refers to the segment of SLEX from Alabang Exit in Muntinlupa City up to Santo Tomas Exit in Santo Tomas, Batangas.

SLEX Redevelopment

The SLEX Upgrading and Rehabilitation Project already started since May 2006 by PNCC and MTD Capital, BHD of Malaysia (MTD Manila Expressway Corporation) joint venture, called South Luzon Tollway Corporation (SLTC), as the main proponents of the said project. In this project, the expressway will undergo a major rehabilitation similar to the recently - rehabilitated North Luzon Expressway and will eventually connect with its Batangas section, the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road, also known as the STAR Tollway. The expressway project includes the following:

Toll Road 1

The Toll road 1 or TR1 is the retrofitting and widening of the old Alabang Viaduct.
STATUS: 100% completed (including the drainage system and installing of lamp posts).

Toll Road 2

The Toll road 2 or TR2 is the rehabilitation and widening of the Alabang-Calamba segment.
STATUS: 100% completed (including the new asphalt overlay along the expressway segment, retrofitting and construction of new bridges, installing lamp posts near tollway exits, drainage and flood control system especially in the San Pedro area, renovation of tollway signage and adding electronic ones near Susana Heights and Sta. Rosa, replacement of new modern Tollbooths in every exit and a facelift of every highway overpass).

Toll Road 3

The SLEX was extended to Sto. Tomas to connect it to the STAR tollway in 2010. The SLEX is pink while the STAR is red.

The Toll road 3 or TR3 is the construction of the missing tollway link (Calamba-Santo Tomas segment). The SLEx-STAR link is a 7.3 kilometer toll road from South Luzon Expressway in Calamba, Laguna to STAR Tollway in Santo Tomas, Batangas.

Toll Road 4

The Toll Road 4 or TR4 is a proposed 55.87 kilometer 4 lane SLEX Extension to Lucena in Quezon province. It will move to Matnog, Sorsogon in preparation of the completion of Toll Road 5.
STATUS: Groundbreaking ceremony was held last June 16, 2010. However, it has now become a part of President Aquino's public-private-partnership programmes.

Toll Road 5

The Toll Road 5 or TR5 is a proposed 408 kilometer 4 lane SLEX Extension to Matnog in Sorsogon province.
STATUS: As of 2012, this project has not yet submitted to the government and its contractor SMC-backed Citra owned South Luzon Tollway Corporation. This project will be most likely completed around 2018/2019.

Rehabilitation

  • The newly built southbound portion of the Alabang Viaduct has been opened in mid-June 2008 and the northbound portion of the Alabang Viaduct was opened in November 2008, which is ahead of the original completion date of December 2008. The old lane has been demolished to give a way for constructing a new northbound portion and all of Alabang Viaduct is now fully operational.
  • Widening of the tollway from Calamba Exit to Alabang Exit including bridges and road upgrading and improvement of the SLEX's facilities is complete. It is also adding up additional overpasses to the Skyway System to accommodate the opening of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 and has also linked STAR Tollway to SLEX. The ground at the ending of SLEX (The circular road to Calamba via National Highway) is reconstructed and the ground has been cleared.
  • The elevated road connecting the South Luzon Expressway and Ninoy Aquino International Airport has been completed, which was announced by the Public Works Department on February 12, 2009. Construction of the road started in October 2003, with skyways linking it to the Terminal 3 of the Airport.
  • Now the rehabilitation project is complete, it is said that the expressway will have qualities similar to that of a modern Malaysian expressway. Also, the driving time from Manila to the Port of Batangas in Batangas City is reduced from four hours to roughly one and a half hours.
  • The SLEX extension TR3 or SLEX-STAR connection physically finished its extension project since October 2010 and is operational since December 15, 2010 or two months after the toll road was physically constructed due to toll hike issues. The extension runs from Calamba exit to Sto.Tomas Exit which connects it to the STAR Tollway.
  • Also on the same date which was December 15, 2010, the first portion of the Skyway Stage 2 project which was running from Bicutan to Sucat was opened to the public.

More SLEX Future developments

Skyway Stage 3 / NLEx-SLEx Connector Road / Segment 11

Two proposals for connecting the SLEx with the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) have been under consideration by the government since 2010.[5] According to DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson both proposals would likely be pushed through, as the proposals can co-exist as the projects service two different corridors of the metro.[6] On May 23, 2012, both companies presented their proposals to President Benigno S. Aquino III. The administration then announced through Communications Secretary Ricky Carandang that they hoped both companies could be given formal awarding and final approval by the end of the year, so that they could begin "by the end of this year or early next year."[5]

CMMTC Proposal

Dubbed as the "Skyway Stage 3", the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) had received an unsolicited proposal for the construction of the elevated toll road Skyway’s extension from San Miguel Corp. backed Citra Metro Manila Tollways Corp. (CMMTC) which according to their proposal will run from Bicutan, Taguig to Balintawak, Quezon City.[6]

The DPWH plans to include the project in its PPP thrust and plans to subject the proposal to a Swiss Challenge, Public Works Undersecretary Romeo S. Momo said in a telephone interview on Friday. A Swiss challenge requires a government agency which has received an unsolicited bid for a project to publish the bid and invite third parties to match or exceed it.[6]

As of November 29, 2013, the PHP 26.6 Billion "Skyway Stage 3 Project" is undergoing a review of the detailed engineering design by the IC [7]

MPTDC Proposal

Meanwhile a year before the CMMTC proposal was unveiled NLEX concessionaire subsidiary Metro Pacific Tollway Development Corporation (MPTDC) through its Manila North Tollways Corporation (MNTC) submitted their proposal which is dubbed as "Segment 11 or the NLEx-SLEx Connector Road" in the NLEx Phase 2 project which involves the construction of a 13.24 kilometer Elevated Expressway from Buendia (Skyway Stage 1) to the C-3 Road which will connect to the NLEx via Segment 10 of the NLEx Phase 2 project in which most of the elevated roadway will be located above the C-2 Road Right-Of-Way.[6]

As of November 29, 2013, the "NLEx-SLEx Connector Road" project worth an estimated PHP 21.2 Billion was approved as a Joint Venture Project under Presidential Decree 1894 according to the PPP Center [8] of the Philippines.

SLEX Extension to Lucena

The then-President Gloria Arroyo said the South Luzon Expressway will be extended to Lucena from Laguna as part of the Urban Luzon Beltway super region. The total length of the extension will be 55.87 kilometers. The extension will be built through a P10-billion build-operate-transfer agreement with Manila Toll Expressway Systems Inc., a company owned 40 percent by Philippine National Construction Corp. The rest is shared equally by the local firm Alloy Manila Expressway Inc. and the SMC-backed Citra Group of Indonesia which bought the shares formerly owned by the MTD Capital Berhad of Malaysia.

SLEX Extension to Matnog, Sorsogon

Dubbed as Toll Road 5, the South Luzon Expressway will be extended to Matnog from Lucena, Quezon. The total length of the extension will be 408 kilometers. The extension will decongest Andaya Highway and Pan-Philippine Highway, cut travel time from Manila to Naga by 2–3 hours, to Legazpi by 4–5 hours and to Matnog by 6 hours and soon be built by Manila Toll Expressway Systems Inc., a company owned 40 percent by Philippine National Construction Corp. The rest is shared equally by the local firm Alloy Manila Expressway Inc. and the SMC-backed Citra Group of Indonesia which bought the shares formerly owned by the MTD Capital Berhad of Malaysia.

Exits

  • Exits are numbered by kilometer post, with Rizal Park in Manila designated as Kilometer 0. Exits start at 8 because the Paco-Magallanes segment is not part of the expressway segment. On the highway, exit numbers aren't posted until Exit 26. Also note that the exit number goes north-south, unlike US freeways and the NLEx.

(Gil Puyat Flyover)		 (End of Expressway) Makati Exit is an overpass over Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia). Staying on the main road takes motorists to Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia), from where motorists can continue right to Makati or left to Manila. Until the Magallanes exit, this section of road provides access to numerous smaller local roads. And for southbound users, staying on the main road can provide access to the Skyway. There is no access to the skyway from the flyover.
6 Skyway: Gil Puyat Exit Ramp Ramp This exit takes you to the Metro Manila Skyway express route which travels over the SLEX up to the Alabang Exit. This route has fewer exits and is therefore a faster route. There's a possibility of the Skyway to be extended to the north until it meets up with North Luzon Expressway on Mindanao Avenue Exit in the future.
7 Skyway: Makati Exit Ramp This exit on the northbound Skyway lanes (from Calamba) takes you directly to the Makati Central Business District. This exit leads onto a very short 4-lane spur route then curves left and descends to merge onto Amorsolo Street.
7 Arnaiz Avenue
Pasay Road Intersection		 Four-Way Intersection This signalized intersection lies under the Makati exit and provides a connection to Arnaiz Avenue from the main expressway.
7 Skyway: Don Bosco Exit Ramp This exit on the northbound Skyway provides access to the Don Bosco Street intersection on the main SLEX.
8 Magallanes Interchange
(EDSA exit)		 Partial Turbine/Partial Roundabout This exit on the main SLEX provides a direct connection to northbound EDSA. Besides providing a direct exit to northbound EDSA to Makati, the Ortigas Center, SM Megamall, Cubao, SM City North EDSA, the NLEX and Monumento. there is also an intersection at the bottom of the complex which provides access to southbound EDSA and the Mall of Asia, Manila Pier, Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Roxas Boulevard and Taft Avenue. There is no access to EDSA from the Skyway.
9 Skyway Entrance: Magallanes Ramp This exit on Southbound SLEX provides access to the Skyway. This access ramp may be useful for commuters merging on the SLEX from EDSA, and commuters from the Skyway wishing to exit at Magallanes. From Manila, it is the exit came before entering Pasay. From Calamba, on the skyway, it is situated after entering Makati.
9 Sales Exit Four-ramp partial cloverleaf Pasay This exit on the SLEX takes you to Sales Road. Westbound takes you to NAIA Terminal 3, Villamor Airbase and Newport City. Eastbound takes you to Bonifacio Global City, Fort Bonifacio and McKinley Hill via Lawton Avenue. One exit takes you to WB Sales Road and the West Service Road, with no left turn access. Access to EB Sales Road is provided by a second exit.

Sales Exit		 Ramp This exit leads to NAIA Complex, Newport City and Villamor Airbase via NAIA Expressway.
10 Nichols Toll Barrier The Nichols Toll Barrier is located on the northbound lanes. There are two toll gates. Both toll gates accounts for normal cash and coupon fares as well as the EPass Tollway Pass. Formerly, the system is the same for the elevated Skyway, which are much smaller but since the stage 2 of the Skyway way finished it was moved to Alabang to accommodate more vehicles at the same time. It is here that the toll, limited access section of the SLEX begins.
12 C-5 Exit Half Y This exit on the northbound SLEX lanes takes you to the C-5 Road to Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Pasig; Eastwood City, Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines and Miriam College in Quezon City, Caloocan, Valenzuela, and other parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan and Rizal.
13 Merville Exit Half Y This exit on the southbound SLEX lanes takes you to the West Service Road. This exit also takes you to a temporary extension of C-5 into Pasay.
14 Skyway: Doña Soledad Exit Ramp Parañaque This separate exit on the southbound Skyway takes you to some residential areas in Parañaque. There is no direct access to Bicutan, Taguig.
14 Bicutan Exit Diamond This exit takes you to Doña Soledad Avenue where west goes to SM City Bicutan, and some residential areas in Parañaque; eastbound leads to Taguig, Pasig City, Taytay, and other parts of Rizal province. This interchange has more of a diamond interchange layout.
18 Skyway: Dr. A. Santos Exit
(Sucat Exit)		 Ramp This is a separate exit on the Skyway which takes you to Dr. Santos Avenue (Sucat Road), where westbound goes to the Memorial Parks, the Parañaque City Proper, BF Homes, Jaka Plaza, SM City Sucat, Amvel Business Park, El Shaddai International House of Prayer, Duty Free Philippines, Casino Filipino and Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Eastbound goes to Taguig and Sucat.
18 Sucat Exit Diamond This exit on the SLEX takes you to Dr. Santos Avenue (Sucat Road), where westbound goes to the Memorial Parks, the Parañaque City Proper, BF Homes, Jaka Plaza, SM City Sucat, Amvel Business Park, El Shaddai International House of Prayer, Duty Free Philippines, Casino Filipino and Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Eastbound goes to Barangay Sucat in Muntinlupa. This exit also has a diamond interchange layout.
19 Skyway: Alabang Toll Barrier Muntinlupa The Skyway Alabang Toll Barrier replaced the former Skyway Nichols toll barrier in the elevated portion of the expressway or the Skyway. There are two toll gates. Both toll gates account for normal cash and coupon fares as well as the EPass Tollway Pass.
20 Skyway: Hillsborough Exit Ramp Ramp This replaced the San Martin de Porres Temporary Exit Ramp on April 6, 2011.
22 Skyway: Alabang South Station Exit Ramp Ramp This is an Entry/Exit Ramp in Alabang South Station, Alabang, Muntinlupa.
22 Southbound Alabang Exit One-ramp partial cloverleaf This exit on the SLEX provides the option of getting onto local roads around the Alabang area. Southbound, the exit takes you to the southbound National Highway that connects from Muntinlupa to Pagsanjan Laguna and Real Street/Alabang-Zapote Road to Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa; Barangays Almanza, Talon, Pamplona and Zapote in Las Piñas and Cavite. It also takes you to the SM Southmall, BF Homes, Puregold Las Piñas, RFC, Moonwalk and Casimiro Village.
23 Northbound Alabang Exit Trumpet This exit on the SLEX leads you towards the Alabang-Zapote Road. The northbound exit splits in two at the gore point. Exiting to the right takes you to the northbound Alabang-Zapote Road and National Highway, while on the left is the Filinvest Exit which takes you to the Filinvest District.
23 Filinvest Exit Trumpet This exit on the SLEX takes you to the Filinvest district. The northbound exit splits in two at the gore point. Exiting to the left takes you to the Filinvest District, while on the right is the northbound Alabang exit and leads towards the Alabang-Zapote Road. It also takes you to Festival Supermall, Alabang Town Center and Ayala Alabang.
25 Southbound Shell Service Area
26 Susana Heights Exit Two-way Trumpet This exit on the SLEX provides access to Susana Heights. Southbound heads to the Tunasan Proper, the Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. Philippines, SM Center Muntinlupa, San Pedro, Laguna, and other parts of Laguna. Northbound heads to the New Bilibid Prisons, the Muntinlupa City Hall, and other parts of Muntinlupa. It is at this exit that the exit numbers start to appear. Soon to be accessed to the future C-6 Road. This is the southernmost exit of SLEX in Metro Manila. This exit would also connect the expressway to the Daang Hari Road in Las Piñas for vehicles heading to the province of Cavite.
28 Southbound San Pedro Exit Two-ramp partial cloverleaf San Pedro, Laguna This exit along the SLEX southbound lanes is located and provides access to San Pedro. Westbound leads to some private subdivisions in San Pedro, while eastbound leads to the town proper of San Pedro.
29 Northbound Caltex Service Area This service station replaced the old Caltex service station in Muntinlupa situated on KM 24 which was demolished.
29 Southbound Petron Service Area
31 Southwoods Exit Four-ramp partial cloverleaf Biñan This exit on the SLEX is located near the Southwoods Manor and Colegio San Agustin-Biñan, both within the Southwoods Ecocentrum. Westbound heads to the Southwoods Manor, Splash Island, and also serves as a shortcut to Carmona, General Mariano Alvarez, Dasmariñas and the rest of Cavite province. Eastbound heads to San Pedro, Biñan City Proper, and other parts of Laguna through the Old National Highway on the Maharlika Highway.
33 Carmona Exit Trumpet Carmona, Cavite This exit on the SLEX located at Governors Drive resembles most closely a US tollway interchange. Westbound goes to the town proper of General Mariano Alvarez, Carmona, Dasmariñas, General Trias, Trece Martires, Naic and the rest of Cavite province. Eastbound goes to Biñan, San Pedro and the rest of Laguna.

(Mamplasan Exit)		 Four-ramp partial cloverleaf This exit on the SLEX heads takes you to Mamplasan. Eastbound heads to Pavilion Mall, Biñan City Proper, Biñan City Hall, PUP Biñan, Brentville Subdivision, Jubilation and other parts of Laguna. Asia Brewery Inc. Exit (Malitlit Exit)		 Wide four-way interchange Cabuyao This exit is located in Cabuyao but does not have an access road to Cabuyao. Eastbound heads to San Lorenzo Village, Barangay Malitlit proper, Cabuyao town proper and Asia Brewery, Inc. Manufacturing Plant in Cabuyao. Only employees can pass at ABI. Westbound heads towards the Santa Rosa access road, and is a public route. This exit serves as a shortcut (for northbound travelers) to head to De La Salle Canlubang, Cavite province and Tagaytay.
43 Cabuyao Exit Four-ramp partial cloverleaf This exit on the SLEX is located in and provides access to Cabuyao. Eastbound goes to Malayan Colleges Laguna, Santa Rosa, Calamba, and other parts of Laguna. Westbound heads to Pulo, San Isidro, Banlic, Mamatid, Mabuhay, Canlubang.
45 Silangan Exit Four-ramp partial cloverleaf Calamba This exit on the southbound SLEX is the first exit in Calamba, Laguna. Eastbound heads to the Silangan Industrial Park. This is also an alternative route to Canlubang. Westbound heads to Paciano Rizal, Calamba and the rest of Laguna province. This exit provides no access to Calamba (due to a one-way road), so travelers to Calamba may either take the earlier Cabuyao exit or any of the later exits.
46 Calamba Toll Barrier This toll barrier will serve as limited toll access for the motorists exiting Canlubang (Mayapa), Batino and Calamba (Turbina) Exits.
47 Canlubang Exit
(Mayapa Exit)		 Four-ramp partial cloverleaf This exit is located within Calamba. Eastbound heads to Calamba City Proper, while westbound heads to an industrial park, Camp Vicente Lim (PNP - CALABARZON Regional Office) and also serves as an alternate route to Tagaytay.
48 Batino Exit Two-way interchange This exit is located on the southbound lanes of the SLEX and is yet another alternate route to Tagaytay. Besides an alternate route to Tagaytay City, the exit provides access to CPIP (Calamba Premier International Park) and the nearby barangays around Batino, such as Prinza, Barandal, Punta, Mayapa, Turbina, and Lawa. Passing through this route cuts the time needed to reach Tagaytay Highlands in Tagaytay through Tanauan, Batangas.
50 Calamba Exit
(Turbina Exit)		 Four-ramp partial cloverleaf Going southbound to an exit ramp south of Turbina overpass heads you to Calamba proper, Rizal province, Los Baños,Santa Cruz and the rest of Laguna. Going southbound to the exit ramp north of Turbina overpass heads you to Maharlika Highway that traverses various industrial parks between Calamba and Santo Tomas, Batangas. It will also go to SM City Calamba when you are facing to the south of Turbina overpass. The original expressway ended here, before it was extended to Santo Tomas, Batangas, eventually connecting to Southern Tagalog Arterial Road.
54 Saimsim Toll Barrier This toll barrier currently serves as limited toll access for the motorists exiting Santo Tomas Exit but in the future it will be reconfigured for both Southbound and Northbound motorists after Toll Roads 4 and 5 are completed: The southbound barrier will get their Toll cards and pay at the exits and The Northbound barrier will pay their toll fees from the entry points.
60 Santo Tomas Exit Four-ramp partial cloverleaf Santo Tomas, Batangas The link of South Luzon Expressway. This Exit leads you to the Maharlika Highway. Left goes to Santo Tomas town proper, Lucena, San Antonio, Quezon; San Pablo, Quezon Province, and the Bicol Region (Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Masbate, and Sorsogon), right goes to various industrial parks between Santo Tomas, Batangas and Calamba when you are facing southbound or pass by the tollgate. This is the current southern terminus of the expressway, connecting it to STAR Tollway which leads all the way to Batangas City. By 2016, this terminus will move to Lucena after Toll Road 4 opens to traffic.

TBA Matnog Intersection Roundabout This is the future southern terminus for SLEX in Matnog. Going Northbound takes you to the Town proper, Eastbound leads you to the Bypass road to the coastal areas and Southbound takes you to the port to Allen, Northern Samar.
