South Horizons (海怡半島) is a private housing estate located at the western end of the island of Ap Lei Chau(Aberdeen Island), in Hong Kong,[1] near Ap Lei Chau Estate. It consists of 34 blocks,[2] ranging in height from 25 to 42 storeys,[1] constructed from 1992-1995.

History

Ap Lei Chau Power Station was located on the site of the housing estate from 1969 to 1989, But in 1989 relocation in Lamma Island.[3]

Description

South Horizons has a total of 9,812 residential units. It is divided into 4 phases, which phase I and phase IV are closer to the public housing estate. The property is currently owned and managed by Hutchison Whampoa Limited.

Taxis are another way of transportation to the rest of Hong Kong. The red taxi currently is available in South Horizons, which can go throughout Hong Kong.
