South Groveton, Texas

South Groveton is a town on the outskirts of Groveton in Trinity County, Texas. It was established after 1900, and in 1930 the town had 1000 and 25 businesses. During the 1940s, the population dropped to 619. By the 1990s the population dropped to 175.
