South Chotanagpur division

South Chotanagpur division (Hindi: दक्षिणी छोटानागपुर प्रमण्डल) is one of the five divisions in the Indian state of Jharkhand. The division comprises the following districts: Gumla district, Khunti district, Lohardaga district, Ranchi district and Simdega district.[1]It was earlier part of Chota Nagpur Division. East Singhbhum, Seraikela Kharsawan district and West Singhbhum were separated from South Chotanagpur division and made into a new division – Kolhan division [2][3][4]
