Sourvein is a sludge/doom metal band that formed in Cape Fear, North Carolina during the year 1993. The band has released three full length albums and three EP's and various 7splits.
As of december, 2012 - currently finishing up writing a new full-length album to follow-up "Black Fangs".They entered the studio with mike dean in july 2013
The band's bass player, Mike Boone, died in his sleep after a sold out show in nyc with germany's kadaver on Oct 6th, 2013.[1]
