Soukourougban is a town and commune in central Côte d'Ivoire. It lies along the A8 road, connected to Séguéla in the west and Bouaké in the east. On 24 January 2004, armed members of the Patriotic Movement of Côte d'Ivoire burst into a funeral ceremony and forced 26 people there to lie on the ground.[1]
