The tribe Sophoreae is one of the subdivisions of the plant family Fabaceae. This group of genera, which have relatively simple flowers and unspecialized pinnate leaves and quinolizilidine alkaloids, appears to be polyphyletic.[1][2] The following genera are recognized by the USDA:[3]
