Sonu Kakkar is an Indian playback singer. She was born on October 20 in Rishikesh, Uttaranchal. She started singing jagrans at the age of 5 when her parents shifted to Delhi. She later shifted to Mumbai where Bollywood music director Sandeep Chowta heard her singing in a singing competition and gave her a break with the song 'Babuji zara dheere chalo'.[1][2]
