Strange Lyrical Meaning

The Lyrics seemed to say that Pete Townshend was "Saved" a "Few Times" by "Not" having Sexual intercourse with a series of Women.[1]

Omitted from Face Dances

The Who omitted "Somebody Saved Me" from their 1981 album Face Dances, their first album with Kenney Jones, the song didn't seem to fit the style of The Who therefore it was not released on the LP.[2]
