Solarolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ravenna in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, located about 40 km southeast of Bologna and about 30 km west of Ravenna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,256 and an area of 26.3 km².[1]
Solarolo borders the following municipalities: Bagnara di Romagna, Castel Bolognese, Cotignola, Faenza, Imola.
Laura Pausini was born and grew up in Solarolo.
