Solaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 15 km northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,074 and an area of 6.7 km².[1]

Solaro borders the following municipalities: Saronno, Ceriano Laghetto, Bovisio-Masciago, Limbiate, Caronno Pertusella, Cesate.
