Solace is an upcoming American mystery thriller film directed by Afonso Poyart, written by Ted Griffin and screenplay by Peter Morgan and Sean Bailey. The film stars Anthony Hopkins, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Abbie Cornish, Matt Gerald, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Kenny Johnson and Sharon Lawrence.

Plot

A psychic doctor, John Clancy (Anthony Hopkins) works with a special agent of the FBI (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in search of a serial killer (Colin Farrell).[3]

Cast

Production

The script for Solace originates from a re-written script that was intended to be a sequel to Se7en. However, the project was scrapped. The current script for Solace is a re-written version of the script for a Se7en sequel.[4]

Filming began in the last week of May 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia.[3][5]
