Sokół [ˈsɔkuu̯] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sobolew, within Garwolin County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Sobolew, 17 km (11 mi) south of Garwolin, and 71 km (44 mi) south-east of Warsaw.
The military commander Kazimierz Orlik-Łukoski was born here in 1890.[citation needed]
