Sohlan Rajputs mainly reside in Azad Kashmir areas of Mirpur, these are New Koonjari and New Jabot in Jatlan as well as Modern Jabot and Chechian.They settled here after the building of the Mangla Dam and had to relocate away from the main city of Mirpur. Mehmanpur and Ghaseetpur are also Sohlan Rajputs villages, in fact all these villages are one family and majority have migrated to UK towns ie: Slough,Birmingham, Leyton and walthamstow. Other Sohlan Rajputs are of Kotli,Naar Mando in Azad Kashmir who are relatives of the Sohlan Rajputs of Mirpur mentioned.
