Sofi Fahrman

Sofi Margareta Fahrman, born July 20, 1979 in Stockholm nowadays living in New York, USA is a Swedish journalist and fashion reporter at the Aftonbladet newspaper. Sofi Fahrman also run and owns the blog Sofis Mode at Aftonbladets official website, she also each week released her own fashion magazine Sofis mode as a supplement to the Aftonbladet newspaper.[1] Fahrman also runs her own blog called Sofis snapshots. Before starting Sofis mode she was a celebrity editor on Aftonbladets celebrity and entertainment magazine Klick!.[2]

Career

Fahrman worked for Elle magazine in Sweden for a few years and then went to work for Aftonbladet,[1] she has also worked for the editorial firm Loweforever. In 2006 Sofi Farhman led the fashion television show Sofies mode on Kanal 5 in Sweden, it was later also broadcast on TV7.[1] In 2011 Sofi along with her sister Frida Fahrman hosted the television show Stylisterna (the stylists) on Kanal 5 Play. [1]

During 2007 she also hosted her own travelling television show on TV7 called Sofi and the city were Fahrman travelled to seven cities in the world.[2] In the show she guided the viewers to places in the visited city were she usually shops and does different activities (sutch as night clubs, restaurants.[2] The seven cities covered in the show was New York, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, Copenhagen and Paris.[2]

Sofi Fahrman has also worked on and released two books called Elsas mode which was released in stores in 2009 and Elsas värld which came out in 2010.[3] The books tells the story about a young fashion blogger than moves to Stockholm and gets tangled in the high-life of Stureplan.[3]

Royal friendship

Sofis Fahrmans close friendship with the Swedish Princess Madeleine has been highly covered by Swedish media.[4] It was even rumoured that the Princess and Fahrman was living together in Fahrmans apartment sharing the place in New York something later denied by Sofis own fashion magazine Sofis mode.[4]

Personal life

Sofi Fahrman is the older sister of Frida Fahrman, also fashion editor and reporter. [1]
