SodaHead is an online community that features a combination of content creation and redistribution.[2]
The company is headquartered in Encino, California. SodaHead is privately held and its investors include Mohr Davidow Ventures, Mission Ventures and the Tech Coast Angels, as well as angel investor Ron Conway.[3] Quantcast reports Sodahead has 3.8 million unique U.S. monthly visitors and 6.9 million globally.[4]

SodaHead provides an outlet for people to ask questions, post breaking news of the day, and share his/her opinions on issues.[5] Members may pose a question to the community, answer other people's questions, vote on, comment on, and debate on various topics. Topics include music, movies, celebrity gossip, politics, religion, technology and business.[6][7] In its topics and world views the site is largely focused on the United States. SodaHead leverages its technology through a polling web widget where users can add videos and images, promote the poll in hopes it will go viral and customize the look and feel.[8]

History
SodaHead was founded by Jason Feffer, former vice president of operations at MySpace, and his childhood friend Michael Glazer.[10]
