Smardzewice [smard͡zɛˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tomaszów Mazowiecki, within Tomaszów Mazowiecki County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Tomaszów Mazowiecki and 52 km (32 mi) south-east of the regional capital Łódź.[1]
The village has a population of 1,700.
