Small-outline transistor

A Small Outline Transistor (SOT) is a small footprint, discrete surface mount transistor commonly used in consumer electronics.
Package configurations
Two of the most common package configurations are the SOT-23[1] and SC-70.[2] Other package configurations are SOT-66, SOT-89, SOT-143, SOT-223 and TSOT-23, which is a thinner version.[citation needed]
