Smědčice is a village and municipality (obec) in Rokycany District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 4.66 square kilometres (1.80 sq mi), and has a population of 172 (as at 3 July 2006).
Smědčice lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-west of Rokycany, 12 km (7 mi) north-east of Plzeň, and 73 km (45 mi) south-west of Prague.
