The Slovenské stredohorie or Slovak Central Mountains[1] is a group of mountain ranges in southern central Slovakia. Approximately in the center of the mountains lies the city of Zvolen.

Slovenské stredohorie is a part of the Inner Western Carpathians. They are bordered by the Fatra-Tatra Area in the northwest and north, Slovak Ore Mountains (Slovenské rudohorie) in the east, Southern Slovak Basin (Juhoslovenská kotlina) in the south and by the Pannonian Plain in the southwest.

The Slovak Medium Mountains are divided into the following subdivisions:

The highest mountain is Poľana at 1,458 m.
