Sloka, Latvia

Sloka is a residential area and neighbourhood of the city Jūrmala, Latvia and formerly a town of its own. It gained town rights in 1878 and existed as a separate town until 1959 when together with Rīgas Jūrmala, another town and later administrative part of Riga, and Ķemeri it was included in the newly formed city Jūrmala.
