Skrzypy [ˈskʂɨpɨ] (German: Steinhof bei Rosengarten) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Węgorzewo, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) south-west of Węgorzewo and 77 km (48 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
