Skomack Wielki [ˈskɔmat͡sk ˈvjɛlki] (German: Skomatzko; 1938-1945: Dippelsee) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stare Juchy, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Stare Juchy, 19 km (12 mi) west of Ełk, and 105 km (65 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
