Skansen Tunnel (Bergen)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Skansen Tunnel is a proposed road tunnel in Bergen, Norway, which would run from Bontelabo to either Christies gate in the city center, or connect to the Fløyfjell Tunnel. The intention is to allow traffic to and from Sandviken to bypass Bryggen and the city center. The project would be part of Norwegian County Road 585 and financing has been secured through the Bergen Program. The tunnel is estimated to cost NOK 430 million and could be completed by 2015.[1]
