Siyanda Grey (born 16 August 1989) is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with the Eastern Province Kings.[1] His usual position is centre or wing.

History

He started his career coming through the youth system at the Eastern Province Kings, representing them in the Under 21 Currie Cup competition.

He was then included in the 2010 Vodacom Cup squad, scoring on his debut against Western Province.[2] He featured in three more Vodacom Cup games and also scored two tries in two appearances for the Under 21 Currie Cup competition later that year.

He was called up to an Emerging Boks sevens team that played in the Safaricom Sevens tournament in Kenya.[3]

After scoring five tries in eight appearances in the 2011 Vodacom Cup, he was included in the South African Kings team in the 2011 IRB Nations Cup. He was the leading try-scorer in the tournament, scoring six tries in three appearances, including a hat-trick against Georgia.[4]

He scored a further two tries in three games in the 2011 Currie Cup First Division, before missing the remainder of the 2011 and the majority of the 2012 season through injury.

He was named in the Kings squad for the 2013 Super Rugby season.
