Sanjawi Tehsil (pronounced "Sanzawi" locally) is an administrative subdivision (tehsil) of Ziarat District in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. The tehsil is administratively subdivided into five Union Councils and is headquartered at the city of Sinjawi.[1]

Sinjawi is noted for its fruit production.﴾Apples, grapes, almonds, pomegranates, pears, apricots﴿[citation needed] The main tribe in Sinjawi is Dummar. The Chief of Dummar tribe is Sardar Ehsanullah Khan Dummar.[2] Sanjawi is located about 32 km from Loralai, and 160 miles from Quetta. It is famous for its apple, pomegranate, peach, almonds, apricot, cherry, walnuts, special kind of olive called "manrha", and many other kinds of fruits. The tribes over here are Dummer, a sub cast of Kakar, SYED(PEACHI), TARAN (SYED) and the Tareen.
