Singpatong Sitnumnoi Muay Thai Gym is a traditional training camp for young muay Thai fighters in Thailand.[1]
The English translation of Sing Patong is “Lion of Patong” which was set by the founder Somsak Junlaka in 1971.
History
Singpatong Sitnumnoi Muay Thai Gym was founded in 1971 by Somsak Junlaka, a professional muay Thai fighter and was originally situated at the Patong Beach entrance. It took a span of 20 years for the creation of this gym at Patong Beach Subdistrict, Kathu District, Phuket Province in Thailand,[2] atop a hill that dominates the bay of Patong.
