Personal life

Singh was born in India but grew up and lives in Japan since age 3.

Career

Kickboxing

He faced Ismael Londt at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2012 in Tokyo Final 16 on October 14, 2012[3][4] and lost via majority decision.[5]

He was scheduled to fight Yong Soo Park at Glory 5: London on March 23, 2013 in London, England[6] but Park was replaced by Daniel Sam.[7] He lost by unanimous decision.[8][9]

Jaideep was set to fight Anderson "Braddock" Silva at Glory 8: Tokyo - 2013 65kg Slam on May 3, 2013.[10][11] The fight was cancelled, however.

Mixed martial arts

Jaideep was scheduled to make his professional MMA debut for the Indian-based promotion Super Fight League at SFL10 against Mohamed Abdel Karim,[12] but had to pull out of the fight due to injury and was replaced by Jimmy Ambriz.

At SFL 16, it was announced during the event that Jaideep signed a contract with the SFL and would be making his debut in the near future. It was also announced that former WWE & TNA superstar and Strikeforce veteran Bobby Lashley and former #1 ranked amateur heavyweight Alex Huddleston also signed contracts with the promotion.[13]

He debuted at SFL 19 on June 7, 2013 and TKO'd Alireza Tavak with elbows in round one.[14][15]
