"Sincere Relation" is a song credited to Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb and was produced by Maurice Gibb, and was released on the Bee Gees' 1970 album 2 Years On.[1]

Lyrics and recording

The singer sings about named George who was born inside London town, working as he grew for the extra pound, on the lyrics, George was respected by all, and he married and made a home to give his children. But later, the singer says that George was died without an explanation.[2]

On 1:08, the drums were played as Robin sings the line 'he died'. On 1:34 a bass line by Maurice was heard. Later in 1:39, Gerry Shury's arrangement of orchestra was featured.

Like the other few songs released on the album, this track was recorded before the Bee Gees reunited in August. The song was recorded without Barry Gibb's participation. This song's original name was "Distant Relationship" but it was changed to "Sincere Relation", and later was replaced by new lyrics. This track was recorded and finished on 13 June 1970, the same day as they finished the unreleased track "Conquer the World". On the same day, they recorded "Lay It on Me", which was also included on the album.[3]
