Simpiwe Vetyeka (born 24 December 1980), is a South African professional boxer with orthodox stance who goes by the nickname of "V12". His professional record includes 28 fights: 26 wins (16 knockouts), and 2 losses. He lives in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, South Africa, and is the current WBA and IBO Featherweight Super Champion after defeating Chris John on 6 December 2013. He has been trained by Vuyani Bungu and Lennox Mpulampula. He is currently trained and managed by Nick Durandt. [1]
