Simeon Bulgaru (born 26 May 1985 in Chişinău) is a football player from Moldova who plays for Volga Nizhny Novgorod in the Russian Premier League.

Career

The talented defender began his career with FC Zimbru Chişinău and joined after three years with the senior side in January 2007 to FC Sheriff Tiraspol.

After one year with the club in January 2008 transferred from FC Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova to Viborg FF in the Danish Superliga.[1] After 2 and a half year in Denmark, he was sold to Alania Vladikavkaz from Russia.

On 27 February 2013 he signed a one and a half year contract with Volga Nizhny Novgorod.[2]

International

Bulgaru who was member of the Moldova national football team in 2007 holds four games for the national side.[3] On 29 May 2010, he scored his first international goal in the 2:3 friendly loss against the United Arab Emirates national football team.
