Sihala

Sihala is a town and union council in the Islamabad Capital Territory of Pakistan, situated to the east of Islamabad, the Pakistani capital. [1] This place is situated at geographical coordinates are 33° 42' 0" North, 73° 0' 0" East and its original name (with diacritics) is Sihāla. The Soan River flows through Sihala. Sihala is the location of the largest police training college in Pakistan, a railway station, a Pakistan State Oil depot and an Army Military Engineering Service supply center.

The Kashmir Highway passes through Sihala. A college of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) at Kak Pul and a campus of University of Lahore at Her-do-Gher have recently opened in Sihala. Villages in Sihala union council include Gagri, Pind Mughal, Chak Kamidar, Nara Sayedan, Sandu Sayedan, Chitroh, Her-do-Gher, Jabi Gakhran, Ladhiot, Kangota Sayedan, Jandala and Kangota Gujran
