Siegfried Mauser

Siegfried Mauser (born 3 November 1954) is a German pianist.

Mauser was born in Munich. He studied piano with Rosl Schmid and Alfons Kontarsky, musicology, philosophy, art history in Munich and Salzburg.

In 1981–83 he was lecturer in musicology and piano in Munich, was professor of piano at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, of musicology in Salzburg; and is now Chancellor of the Hochschule für Musik München.
