Sida hermaphrodita (known by the common names Virginia Fan Petals and Virginia Mallow), is a perennial summer flowering forb with white flowers, which is native to the Eastern United States. It is listed as an endangered species by the states of Indiana, Maryland, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.[2] It grows in habitats such as sandy or rocky river shores.[3]
