Sichuan Food is a Sichuan cuisine restaurant in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star for the period 1993-2005.[3][4][5]
The Michelin star awarded in 1993 to the restaurant was the first one awarded to a Chinese restaurant in the Netherlands.[6] According to Reguliers.net also the first Chinese restaurant in Europe to receive a Michelin star.[7]
In 2013 GaultMillau awarded Sichuan Food 11 points out of 20, signalling it as a restaurant that is run with good service but unfortunately on an "automatic pilote".[8]
