Shweta

Shweta is a given name for females from India and Nepal. It is derived from a Sanskrit "Shwet" which means white or fair. Shweta thus means fair one or lovely. It symbolizes the Goddess of knowledge "Saraswati", who wears a white sari and is also called "Shwetambara".
