Shunno is a pop rock band from Bangladesh formed in 2007.[1][2][3] They have released three albums and few singles.[4][5]

Formation

Shunno was formed by Shaker on Guitars and Emil on vocals. Soon enough, two additions had been made into the lineup- Michael on Bass and Tanim on Drums. After continuing few months Tanim became busy for some circumstances, and Labib joined as a drummer, and so the journey begins... They released their first song towards the end of 2007. Other members were Michael on Bass and Tanim on Drums. After continuing few months Tanim became busy for some circumstances, and Labib joined as a drummer.

Shunno released their 1st album "Notun Srot" under their own production house, Maroon Music. [citation needed] Shunno then released their album, Shoto Asha. Shunno’s title track from their second album Shoto Asha was choose by an renowned Telecom company to be their theme song for the ICC World Cup 2011. Shunno won the Award for Best Band in Popular Choice and Shaker Raza won the Best Sound Engineer in both Popular Choice and Jury Choice. [citation needed] Their third album "Gorbo Bangladesh" was released in September 2011. [citation needed]
