The Shufu (Konasheher) County (Uyghur: قەشقەر كونا شەھەر ناھىيىسى, ULY: Qeshqer Konasheher Nahiyisi, UYY: Ⱪəxⱪər Konaxəⱨər Naⱨiyisi?) is a county in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and is under the administration of the Kashgar Prefecture. It contains an area of 3,513 km². According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 360,000.

2013 attack

On December 15, 2013, 16 people was killed in an attack of the police station. A group of armed knife attacker and bombs thrown into the building and killed to police officers.[1] In the aftermath was 14 of the 16 attackers muredered by the operations unit.[2]
