"Show! Show! Show!" is a pop song performed by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. Sung in Korean, the song was included in their second studio album Oh! which was digitally released on January 28, 2010 under the record label of S.M. Entertainment.[1]
Composition
The song has been composed by a team of record producers which include Kim Boo-min and Hitchhiker. Both had previously collaborated with S.M. Entertainment by composing Girls' Generation's "SunFlower", "Wake Up", "Telepathy" and "Visual Dreams", Super Junior's "A-CHa", "Oops!" and "White Christmas", Shinee's "Electric Heart" and F(x)'s "Pinocchio (Danger)" and "Ice Cream".[2]
The track was described as an "electronica based" song with "powerful synths".
Release
The song was first unveiled at their "Girls' Generation Asia Tour Into the New World" on December 19 & 20, 2009 before the album.
The song was released as the second track on Girls' Generation's second studio album Oh! which was released on January 28, 2010.[3]
Promotion
Girls' Generation had their comeback stage on MBC's Show! Music Core on January 30, 2010 where they performed for the first time "Show! Show! Show!".[4] "Show! Show! Show!" was used as the fourth overall single to promote their second album "Oh!", and it was performed alongside the album's title song "Oh!".
