Combustible won the Grand Prize at the 16th Japan Media Arts Festival[5] and the Ōfuji Noburō Award at the 2012 Mainichi Film Awards.[6]
Tsukumo, under the title Possessions, was nominated for Best Animated Short at the 86th Academy Awards [7]
