The Short-tailed Frogmouth (Batrachostomus poliolophus) is a species of bird in the Podargidae family. It is found in Indonesia, where it occurs in Sumatra, though it has sometimes been considered conspecific with the Bornean Frogmouth. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
