Shorenstein Company

The Shorenstein Company, LLC, is one of the United States' largest and oldest privately owned real estate firms, owning interests in, or managing, some 20 million square feet (2,000,000 m²) of office space. 7 million square feet (650,000 m²) of their space is in San Francisco, California, making it one of the city's largest office landlords.
Founded by Walter Shorenstein after World War II, who died of natural causes on 6/25/2010, the company is now owned by his son, chairman and CEO Douglas W. Shorenstein. The President of the company is Glenn A. Shannon.
