Shimohama Station (下浜駅 Shimohama-eki) is a railway station on the Uetsu Main Line in Akita, Akita, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

History

Shimohama Station opened on February 22, 1920.[1] With the privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
