Shimabara Railway

Shimabara Railway (島原鉄道 Shimabara Tetsudō) (Shimatetsu (島鉄) for short) is a railway company in Nagasaki, Japan.
Shimabara Railway also administers bus and ship.
Nagasaki Prefecture and Cities in Shimabara area came to hold stocks at the time of the restoring increase of capital from an eruption disaster of Unzen Fugen-dake.
History
- May 5, 1908 - Established.
- June 20, 1911 - Open for business from Hon-Isahaya to Ainomura(now Aino).
- April 1, 2008 - Close from Shimabara-Gaikō to Kazusa.
