Sherif Ekramy (Arabic: شريف إكرامي; born 1 July 1983) is an Egyptian footballer. He currently plays as a goalkeeper for Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team.

He has previously played for Feyenoord, Ankaragücü and most recently, El Gouna FC, with whom he helped win promotion to the top flight for the 2009–10 season.

His spell in the Netherlands wasn't very successful. Although signed as a great talent, he was usually reserve keeper. On 11 February 2007 he played his first Eredivisie match for Feyenoord against FC Twente.[1]

Ekramy participated in two successive World Youth cups, the 2001 in Argentina, where he was part of the bronze-medal team, and the 2003 installment in the United Arab Emirates.[2] In the January transfer window season 09/10 Sherif made a move to Al Ahly the club he played for as a youngster and the club his father, Ekramy played for following his father's footsteps and hoping to become a legend like his father. After a serious of disappointing performances some Ahly fans were questioning whether he suited Al Ahly, but he proved them wrong as he played a string of good games insuring that he deserved his place as the starting goalkeeper.
