Sheper (definite form: Sheperi) is a community in the Gjirokastër District, Gjirokastër County, southern Albania.[1]
Sheperi is the largest village of the Zagori municipality. It is mountainous village located 30 km from the city of Gjirokastër, about 800 meters above sea level.
Its current population is about 100 inhabitants due to heavy migration.[citation needed] Religiously, the population belongs to the Orthodox church. There are also Greek[citation needed] and Aromanian[citation needed] minorities.
