Sharqi Rural District (Persian: شرقي, meaning "East") is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Ardabil County, Ardabil Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 17,420, in 4,144 families.[1] The rural district has 11 villages.
